My husband, a company employee, was in a car accident six months ago and became paralyzed on one side of his body, confined to a wheelchair. Doctors have given up on a full recovery, but he remains unconvinced and has been visiting various orthopedic clinics and chiropractic practices. One day, a mysterious medical practitioner claiming to be a "wave-based chiropractor" shows up at our house—presumably at my husband's request. After receiving this dubious treatment, my husband inexplicably believes he will be cured and becomes infatuated with the man. The man then begins to parasitize the family.
